About Hedwig Hartogh MD
Having fallen in love with the Swartland, I stayed on from 2014- 2017 at Swartland District Hospital and subdistrict clinics In Malmesbury as one of the senior medical officers.
In mid-2017, I decided to further develop my skills through joining the private health sector as a General Practitioner and I have been working as a GP ever since.
Malmesbury holds a special place in my heart…it has become not only the place where I have grown the most as a Medical Practitioner, but also where home is, for me, my husband and two beautiful children.
Starting Health at Hart Medical Practice has always been a dream of mine. A place where my patients, my community receive holistic health care of the highest standard, for their entire family. This dream has now become a reality, and I look forward to caring for and treating the people of the Swartland in this family and community focused medical practice.
The name Health at Hart (short for Hartogh) is exactly as our mission statement reads: “We have your healthcare at Heart”
We plan to open our doors in June 2022 and look forward to welcoming you and taking care of your healthcare needs.
